Here is the first of two card I demoed at my down-line meeting on Monday night. Watercolouring is my favourite technique to use, however this is not the case for most people. I hope after my demo, I was able to show that watercolouring can be done easily.
When I am doing a card with a lot of watercolour, I try to keep the layout simple. I do not want to clutter the card, and take away from the time I spent colouring the images.
The base of this card is Perfect Plum. It is layered with Crushed Curry and Elegant Eggplant. I added a scallop detail on the Crushed Curry layer using my scallop edge punch.
My images were stamped on watercolour paper using Stazon ink. The large rose and the orchid were coloured using my aqua painter and Barely Banana, Crushed Curry and MOre Mustard ink. The two daisy's were coloured using Pale Plum, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.
To finish the card, I added some paper piercing and the greeting. Hope you like the card. Have a great day!
very pretty Jodie!!
