Well, I think after a full day of crafting yesterday (with Martha and my sister Marika), I think I am ALMOST done my Artisan Award entries. I knew it would take a lot of time preparing all of the cards, pages and 3-D projects, BUT I spent a lot more time that I expected. That being said, I am sending in projects that I am very happy with. I cannot share photo's of my entries until after convention in August.
This is the card that I made as a sample for the one my friend Jodie was going to make. She arrived in London Friday night at around 9:00 and once she got to my house, we never got around to stamping before bed. I still have the supplies cut for her to make this card, so she will have to make it next time she is in town. Now remember, she did not want to make a card that was to "girlie" and I told her she would be making a black tree...this is what I can up with!
The base of the card is Basic Black, it is layered with Basic Gray, Whisper White and Basic Gray (from the hostess prints pack). The vertical panel is Basic Gray and DSP from the same pack. I stamped the tree inBasic Gray and added Basic Black leaves. I felt the tree needed a little pop of colour, so I added the bird stamped in Pacific Point...FUN! The final touch was adding a few leaves popped up using dimensionals! Hope you like it have a great day!
this is great! i have this set and have been looking for other ways to use it! sweet!
