To say, HAPPY NEW YEAR and Heather challenges her readers to stamp the inside of our cards. Making them as pretty as the fronts! I love challenges! So, of course, I took this one and combined it with SCS sketch challenge for this week.
The base of my card is So Saffron. I layered itwith panels of Old Olive, and Haiku DSP. I added a small bow in Old Olive to the smallest panel. I would have added brads, but I do not have and in either of these colours. I need to add those to my list. The greeting is coloured with my Old Olive marker. My image is stamped on watercolour paper with Stazon Black ink. First I coloured the hive with So Saffron and my Aqua Painter. Then I went back and added some highlighting with my Old Olive ink. The bee's are painted in using Summer Sun and So Saffron. On the inside of my card, I added a small strip of the Haiku DSP. I stamped the greeting and honey pot in Old Olive. I colour in the honey pot using my SU markers! MY NEW YEARS CHALLENGE: I really like to make my cards and send them in the mail. I believe that with the convince of e-mail, this is not something people do as often as they should. I challenge you to mail at least 5 (I aim for 10) card a month. Trust me, all of my friends love getting cards in the mail!
Hey Jodie, we have the same goal...how funny is that!?!?! Hey, maybe you'll just have to get one in the mail! Love the card!
