On Saturday night, I spent some time looking at different blogs to find some inspiration. I was looking at Kimberly's blog, and I saw a box similar to the one I made. I love making fun little boxes, and I knew this box would be perfect for Hersey's, Hugs and Kisses. Kimberly got the original idea from Chi Chi, so I headed over to her blog to find the template. I found the template, but I found the box very small, so I modified the dimension to create a slightly larger box!
Here is the box. It looks much larger in the photo, but really is quite small. The box is made out of Close to Cocoa card stock. I sponged the edges of the box to add more depth. The little belly band is made with Pink Pirouette card stock and Candy Lane DSP. I stamped my image (hugs and kisses, how fitting) on Very Vanilla, using Close to Cocoa ink. I added some colour using my Blender Pen, and Riding Hood Red ink. The photo below show the box open, and all of the "hugs and kisses" falling out!
Want to learn how to make this little box? You need to sign up for my Valentines class on January 21 (7-9 pm). You will make this box, and 4 cards! E-mail me privately at [email protected] if you are interested. Have a great day!
