This is the card I made for the PAA "In The Pink" Challenge. I love playing with pinks, so I was into this challenge.
I wanted to keep my card fairly simple, so I started with Melon Mambo as my base. It is layered with Basic Black, and Melon Mambo/Pretty in Pink. I ran these two pieces through my Big Shot using the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. Once I adhered these to my Black card stock, I used some Melon Mambo and PRetty in Pink ribbon to cover my seam.
For my stamped image, I pulled out my Flight of the Butterflies set. I stamped the large butterfly twice using first Pretty in Pink and then Melon Mambo using my stamp-a-ma-jig to keep the floral pattern on the wings even.
Once this was attached to my Whisper White card stock, I stamped my small butterfly in Pretty in Pink and a few little flowers in Melon Mambo. The card is complete with a cute little greeting (which I borrowed from Pocket Silhouettes). The greeting was punched out using my word window punch and is mounted on a Modern Label. One black brad completes the card.
Happy Sunday!
Very pretty!
