I had so much fun with these colours, thanks to Kristina Werner's colour challenge. I decided to create something else using this colour scheme. This time, instead of a card, I decided to make a treat box. This would be a great box to make as a favour for a Birthday, Shower, or as a Thank-You for a co-worker.
The original inspiration for this box came from Kimberly, who found the box on Chi Chi's blog.
The shell of the box is Rose Red. I added a small scallop detail with my Scallop Edge punch, and added a layer of Pretty in Pink. The belly band that is holding the box closed, is a 3/4" strip of Old Olive card stock, and is layered with a 1/2" strip of Berry Bliss DSP.
Boxes are so much fun to make. I hope you like this one. Have a great New Years, I am off to enjoy a wonderful New Year's dinner with Clint's family! I stamped the little ewe, in Basic Gray. I wanted a little softer look, then Basic Black. I used Lliquid Applique, to make him look soft and puffy. His face is coloured in using my Blush Blossom marker, and the heart using my Rose Red marker.
Supplies:
Stamps: Pun Fun
Paper: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Whisper White, Berry Bliss DSP
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Liquid Applique (non SU)
Oh my! This is the cutest little sheep I have ever seen.
