It is time for another colour inspiration challenge from Kristina Werner. I love the colours this week. Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Very Vanilla. My first instinct was to use my Ski Slope DSP, but once I decided to use my Season of Friendship stamp set, I changed my mind. I will re-post new photo's when I can take them in better light.
My image is stamped on Very Vanilla. The trunk of the tree was stamped with Close to Cocoa, and the little flowers were stamped in So Saffron. I used my Baja Breeze ink to stamp the little bird. I really like the little pop of colour on the tree. The Very Vanilla is then layered on Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card stock. I used my scallop edge punch to add a some detail to the bottom. Baja Breeze ribbon tied in a cute bow finishes the card. The second photo shows a side view of the card. As you can see, I used dimensionals to pop up three of the flowers on the tree. The card looks much better in real, and I hope to get a better photo taken tomorrow! Edited to add: Yea, I have a snow day today, and I have updated my photos! All Supplies SU: Stamps: Season of Friendship Paper: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Urban Garden DSP Ink: Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, Baja Breeze Accessories: 3/4" circle punch, Baja Breeze ribbon, dimensionals My card base is Baja Breeze. It is layered with Chocolate Chip card stock and Urban Garden DSP.
