It is time for another colour challenge from the talented Kristina Werner. I love the colours in the challenge this week! When I arrived home from work, I went to my stamp shelf, and stared looking through my stamp sets. I wanted to find one that had an image that would suit the colours I needed to use. I pulled out Pun Fun. I love this set! I used it a lot when I first got it, but is has sat neglected on my shelf for sometime!
First, I want to apologize for the poor quality of my photo's. It is late (I should be in bed) and I do not have great lighting for pictures at this time of night. I hope if I get home early enough tomorrow, I will re-take my photo's and repost! I started my card by stamping the little bird onto water colour paper. To colour in the image, I used my aqua painter. I layered the image on Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip card stock. The base of my card is Taken with Teal and it layered with Chocolate Chip and DSP from the UR Sweet Simply Scrapin Kit. I love this paper! It is so fun! I wanted to make sure I used all of the colours in the challenge, so I used my scallop edge punch and created a layered edge.
To finish the card, I stamped the greeting in Taken with Teal, and used my word window punch to punch it out. I carefully trimmed it to size. I adhered it to may card front and finished with some paper piercing.
I hope you like it! I am off to bed.
